this country'? You must have a broad definition of 'horror'. A lot of property
owners and folks experienced *real* horror during the riots this past summer. Of

And, FWIW, I dismiss none of Trump's illegal activities (once adjudicated as

I think that if you look back at the origin of this thread you'll find
that "horror" was Harry's choice of words, not mine. That said, I
regard any attempt to subvert a free and valid election, which the
courts have ruled, to be very serious. Hopefully you do also.

The riots of last summer, and the resulting damage, are a totally
separate issue. It could be argued however that Trump's inflammatory
rhetoric was at least partially responsible. Loose cannons rolling
around on deck can do a lot of damage. (please note clever boating
reference)


I don't see where Trump's attempts to subvert the election were less
than a horror perpetrated on the body politic. Those attempts also
resulted in last January's attack on the Capitol, several deaths, and
injuries to many police officers. There are many other instances of
horrific acts by Trump committed while he was in office. There are many
lists of these available on line. That Herring still speaks admiringly
of Trump says volumes about Herring.
