If he is not convicted, it will be because of racism. The victim was
handcuffed and under the control of at least four cops. There was no
need to choke him to death.

See that is the problem. The ME found no signs of choking and there
were no bruises or other injuries. This guy had a heart attack and
died. Maybe Rachel never mentioned that but it will come out in the
trial.
The open question may hinge on whether Chauvin had a reasonable
expectation that if he let Floyd get up, he would become violent
again.
This could get back to the tape of the previous police encounter.
