I am sure Joe is praying that Thune can come up with 34 votes and this
thing goes away soon so he can move on with his agenda. If it is clear
they are going to lose the Democrats may just let it end and move on
too. Certainly if Trump is convicted he would take it across the
street and that could drag on for months.
The last thing anyone wants is for this to dominate the news cycle for
6 months.
Before this is over I bet Nancy wishes she had just torn that
impeachment up on Wednesday.
This is not how Biden wants his first 100 days to go.
