Biden will immediately place Covid controls on all the states, forcing them to
adopt his, and only his, plan which will have the Covid problem resolved within
at three months. By Feb 1, he will have vaccinated at least 150 million people.

===

That would be a fantastic accomplishment if he can actually do it. The
army certainly knows how to vaccinate a large number of people in a
short time - no needles required either.

So does cvs and some supermarket chains. Needles required.

Those devices were relatively new when I was in. In order to boost our
confidence, the corps man would periodically test the device by slicing a
leather belt. And he would say something like, "This only happens if you
move".

I don’t know if they were new, but they got us in both arms at the same
time in 1965.

Same here. I don't think we did much more than freeze for the 2
seconds they were squeezing the triggers on the guns. The line stayed
moving. I think they did the whole company (100 guys) in about 5
minutes. It was just part of a pretty busy day, getting uniforms,
stenciling everything, packing your sea bag, learning how to make up a
military bed and such.

I would have gone to Ft. Wood also. Draft notice went to the wrong
address, and gave me time to enlist USAFR. Lackland AFB.

The best thing that happened to me in 1967 was being able to borrow on
occasion a buddy's brand-new Ducati single cylinder motorcycle. I think
it had a 125cc engine. Drove it one day from Kansas City, Kansas, to
Lawrence, Kansas, and back, on the backroads Kansas highway, K-10. When
I got back, the buddy sez, "I thought you were going to drive it around
the block..." Well...

Was it a better ride than that big Ducati you've bragged about here? We'd all
like to know!
