It's not easy to have compassion for a delusional president leading an
army of simple-minded, heavily armed, right-wing morons itching to turn
this country into a modern day NAZI Germany. I can't think of a previous
POTUS who has pulled the sort of dangerous **** Trump is pulling to
remain in office after being soundly defeated, and also having millions
of equally delusional followers cheering him on and threatening
violence. And political morons like you and several others here are
among the rah-rah boys.

You are trying to assign rationality to Trump. He's not rational. If I
were allowed an "official" guess, I would guess that what is driving
Trump is not remaining POTUS but avoiding the many court cases, some of
them criminal, awaiting him. Add to them that insane phone call he made
over the weekend to Georgia officials, clear violations of Georgia state
law and perhaps federal law, too. Hey, if there is enough heat, Trump
may take a header and I'll be able to collect that one dollar American
from you!

I doubt he is really that scared of the court cases. He just doesn't
like to admit he lost the election. My guess is by this time tomorrow
it will be official. There will be a little **** show on the first few
early states he protests but as soon as they rack up 270 or just get
to the point that uncontested states get him to 270, the protest will
collapse and this will roll on. Maybe that is what he is waiting for
before he quits and goes for that Pence pardon.
