Good morning. Pennsylvania has become the latest state to dismiss
Trump?s attempts to overturn the election result. Yesterday, the state?s

improperly block the Trump campaign from observing the counting of
mail-in ballots ? one of the president?s loudest post-election claims.
Pennsylvania was a key swing state in the election, flipping its 20
electoral college seats to Biden by a narrow margin of 1.2%.

On the other side of the rust belt, Republican certifiers in Michigan
have U-turned and confirmed a Joe Biden win. The state?s largest county
had refused to officially call the state for Biden, despite a clear win,
but changed course after Democrats, election experts and members of the
public warned it was a dangerous overriding of public will.

Trump?s voter fraud lawyer said that the ?litigation will not work?
before being hired to represent the president?s campaign in
Pennsylvania. Broadcasting on his own conservative talkshow days after
the election, Marc Scaringi, who was retained by the Trump campaign on
Monday to replace attorneys who had dropped out of the case, said there
?really are no bombshells? that could overturn the results.

The president performed worse than other Republicans on the ballot
in many counties, with many voters who typically support the Republicans
turning their back on the outgoing president.

Why isn't Joe holding daily press conferences

===

Why should he?

I'd guess that he has more important things to do.

Its hard for me to imagine that you are looking forward to Joe and Carmella
fulfilling their threats.

===

I'm looking forward to getting our wannabe Hitler/Mussolini as far
from the Whitehouse as possible. The man is dangerously criminal.

You are tip toeing around my concern. Thats not like you.

===

I'm not exactly sure what your concern is. As long as our
constitutional democracy remains intact, our system of checks and
balances should prevent anything too radical from happening. I'm not
at all concerned that Biden or Harrris will try to dismantle the
constitution the way that Trump is attempting, nor will they try to
discredit and ignore expert opinions.

Meanwhile the stock market seems happy and that's a reasonably good
indicator that the economy will recover barring any new surprises.

I am concerned that you are looking forward to the democrats running the
country possibly without checks and balances. Radical things and surprises
are likely to happen.

===

Actually not. Even as dysfunctional as they are, I'm sort of hoping
that the senate remains under republican control. That should keep
anything too weird from happening. My ideal would be to see a
moderate, middle of the road republican as president but that won't
happen as long as the crazy factions are running amok. Sometimes you
have to settle for the lesser of two evils.

We are just two senators away from total anarchy.

I agree. I see Wayne let that pass.

I don't expect Joe Biden to:

refuse to release his tax returns
personally profit from official business
refuse oversight
interfere in DoJ investigations
abuse appointment power
insult allies while kissing up to dictators
coarsen presidential discourse
politicize the military
attack judges
insult Gold Star mothers
politicize diplomacy and foreign policy
undermine intelligence agencies
throw paper towels to drowning Puerto Ricans
publicize lists of potential supreme court picks
make more false or misleading claims than any previous president
use government resources for partisan ends
make radicalized appeals and attacks
deliberately divide the nation in a time of crisis
contradict scientists
derail tradition of presidential debates
undermine faith in elections and election results

Tip of the hat to the WASH POST and NY Times

Actually we are poised for a democrat takeover unless we get a senator
or two out of Georgia. Kammy is the tie breaking vote right now.
Fortunately the Senate is the place that was designed to slow down
absurdity that comes from the house.
An excellent example is that $2.2Trillion "Christmas Tree" bill that
has an ornament on it from every special interest group that lobbies
the DNC.

Why should he?

I'd guess that he has more important things to do.

Its hard for me to imagine that you are looking forward to Joe and Carmella
fulfilling their threats.

I'm looking forward to getting our wannabe Hitler/Mussolini as far
from the Whitehouse as possible. The man is dangerously criminal.

You are tip toeing around my concern. Thats not like you.

===

===

Freedom Isn't Free!

What we have now is an anarchist in the White House and an enabler
ruling the Senate. Biden and Harris will restore normalcy and
rationality to the White House and the government.

Normalcy? Tax and over spend, start wars. That normalcy?

I don't expect Joe Biden to:

refuse to release his tax returns
personally profit from official business
refuse oversight
interfere in DoJ investigations
abuse appointment power
insult allies while kissing up to dictators
coarsen presidential discourse
politicize the military
attack judges
insult Gold Star mothers
politicize diplomacy and foreign policy
undermine intelligence agencies
throw paper towels to drowning Puerto Ricans
publicize lists of potential supreme court picks
make more false or misleading claims than any previous president
use government resources for partisan ends
make radicalized appeals and attacks
deliberately divide the nation in a time of crisis
contradict scientists
derail tradition of presidential debates
undermine faith in elections and election results

Tip of the hat to the WASH POST and NY Times

So he will be a kinder gentler yes man. What will he do about the
important things?
Will he start another war?
Will he double down on the ones that are quiescent right now?
Will he pick a fight with the Russians again and try to restart the
cold war?
Will he start kissing Iran's ass again?
What do you think will happen to the debt?
That less than one percent of the population he says he is going to
tax don't have enough money to even cover the new spending programs he
has on the table now and he is far from through giving away borrowed
money. There are $14 billion dollars worth of favors he has to fill.

Another thing
My guess is we will still be wearing masks at thanksgiving next year.

Good morning. Pennsylvania has become the latest state to dismiss
Trump?s attempts to overturn the election result. Yesterday, the state?s
supreme court ruled that Philadelphia election officials did not
improperly block the Trump campaign from observing the counting of
mail-in ballots ? one of the president?s loudest post-election claims.

Wrong. Biden will have it fixed in a month. Probably won't need Trump's vaccine
either.
