I just wish they would stay on the East Coast where they belong. You are pretty sanctimonious for a guy using coal fired electricity tho. I looked and that plant down by the "Nice Bridge" is still burning soft coal. I bet the weenies in their Nissan Leafs don't like admitting they are driving a coal powered car. Our local elec coop diversifies its purchases and also has a very large solar farm. Probably buys some juice from the local nuke plant. We have a coal plant a lot closer than the one down by that bridge... Fracking seems very troublesome for local environments. I guess the question is whether fracked natural gas is more damaging than coal. |
