Good grief Greg. You are *still* hung up on *blocking* the virus
with a cloth or non-N-95 mask.

That is *not* the purpose of wearing a mask ... homemade or
of the non-surgical type.

"coughing into a petri dish"? Of course the virus will
land there.

Have the person holding the petri dish stand 6-10 feet
away from the person coughing. Test wearing a mask
and without a mask. Let us know the results.

Just don't stand next to people who are coughing.

Or talking, or singing, or breathing. Right?

That is what the 6 feet is all about.

If you can. That's not always possible. Go visit your local Costco and you'll
see what I mean.

You're starting to sound very silly.

We all are actually.

Here's the solution:

Wear a mask or don't wear a mask.

If you live in an area where a mask is mandatory and you
decide not to ... pay the $300 fine.

If you don't want to pay the fine ... pay a lawyer
at least $1,000 to take it to court to prove ....

you're a nut.

LOL!

Why not? I have really only been in Costco once in the last couple
months but they limit the number of people in there, they stopped
giving out free food and they cleared out the aisles so you are not
bunched up. Walmart is the same way. It is easy to keep a reasonable
distance. If you read the current guess, they also say the problem is
prolonged contact, not just walking past someone.
When you look at the recent outbreaks, that seems to be true too. They
are people who were sitting in pews together or at a big party,
probably passing a joint around among other things.

Greg, don't wear a mask. If I see you in a store or other place of business,

**** the W.H.O.!

Following the mask guidelines is not 'mindless'. Not doing so falls in that
category, but I didn't want to be name-calling in my earlier post.

The Costco closest to us will not let you in the store without a mask
and a Costco ID card. I suspect that they'd pull your card in a
heartbeat if you gave them any grief about it. Other stores are kind
of a mixed bag. Doctor's offices and other healthcare facilities are
being extremely strict however: Temperature checks, questionaires,
waiting in your car, etc.
