I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Trump and the Iranian ayatollahs
are playing "wag the dog" with each other. The leaders of Iran and the
Trump administration ****ed up their responses to COVID-19 big time.
They'd both go for a diversion, and they both have reputations for that
sort of thing. Trump especially would like a shooting war to prove his
toughness.

I am still curious what we "screwed up big time".
We seemed to have gotten a handle on this as fast as anyone and except
for a few cities, we have peaked. In fact Cuomo says he peaked. I know
our hospitals here were ready for a flood and they got a trickle. They
really want to get back to the elective procedures where they make
their money and employ the most people. They are also complaining that
a lot of potentially life saving procedures are not going on, either
because they were forced to postpone them or because people are more
afraid to go into a hospital than normal.
