Picked up the casings from the guy at the next shooting station, who said they weren't worth reloading again. Took a bunch to a friend's house and tried out his press. Snazzy, eh? :) Good enough for snap caps with rubber primers. |

Did you pull the bullets, dump the powder, deprime them and replace the primer with some kind of HDPE or something? You probably should have drilled a hole or 2 in the case so you knew they were dummies. |

You probably should have drilled a hole or 2 in the case so you knew they were dummies. The bigger question is how did all this happen with the stay home and social distancing that's in place? And harry doesn't know which end of a press is the correct one, so his buddy didn't give him the run of his reloading shop. Someone handed him the shells with the bullets pressed in and crimped and some rubber primer plugs, and told him to superglue them into the primer pockets. At best. He doesn't have a clue how to setup a die in a press. Too funny. |
