Default Arms for Dirt...

....that's the credo of the Trumpsters. Watched a good deal of the
hearings yesterday, thought the witnesses were impressive, thought the
Dems and their counsel did a good job. Got a chuckle of the lack of
defense for Trump's behavior from the Repubs. And when the Repubs whine
about the witnesses, it is important to keep in mind that Trump will not
allow any key witnesses for his side of the story to testify.

Didn't read any of your posts from my approximately two week hiatus.
Doubt I missed anything, eh?

Trump threatened Ambasssador Yovanovitch. Sheesh.

And now, back to your newsgroup stupor.

Trump's mouth and Tweeter account just got him in a pile of do-do

Not sure even the Republicans in the Senate will put up with this one.

"But Republican Representative Jim Jordan dismissed any suggestion that Trump’s tweets were witness
intimidation.

“The witness is testifying. She wouldn’t even have known about the quote, if Mr. Schiff hadn’t read
the tweet,” he said."

Makes sense to me. From Reuters.com.

John, there are times that the Donald should just shut the "f" up.

I agree wholeheartedly. He's a narcissistic asshole. It's hard for them to shut the 'f' up.

However, to say Trump's tweet intimidated the witness is bull****. She knew of the tweet only
because Schiff read it during the testimony.

The big flaw in this story is they got the arms and Trump didn't get
the dirt.

Besides, the tweet wasn't intimidating. He said she was bad in her job. She no longer has that job. That's some pretty weak intimidation. I'd think even Pocahontas could do better.
