As to Orange County being a Republican bastion, that went away years ago. Orange County was originally a German enclave. One of professors in the 1960’s had a heavy German accent. Talking to him, he was born in Orange County and did not speak English until starting kindergarten. Now is a high tech enclave, with lots of liberals. |
