The Mini-30 has a mixed rep for accuracy and reliability. The fancy stock
on the one you bought adds nothing to accuracy or reliability. I wouldn’t
own one. I don’t hate inanimate objects; I’m not a simple-minded
right-winger like you.

Stocks can add to accuracy.

The "Mini" series of Ruger Rifles have some fine attributes, but high
accuracy ain't one of them, regardless of the stock. `

You are blowing smoke now. Your statement was stocks do not add to
accuracy.

In the case of these Ruger production rifles, the barrels are not
free-floated, the barrels are not bedded, and the gas system creates
some accuracy issues, too. Ergo, the Ruger stocks do not add to the
accuracy of the rifle. I'm not sure I can simplify this any more for
you. With the pieces and parts Ruger includes, the "Minis" are not 1"
shooters at 100 yards rifles. Period. I have seen a video in which a
fellow put on a completely different barrel on a old Mini-14 and
improved his accuracy. As I said, though, the Mini-14s are good rifles
if you are not a target shooter.

My ranch rifle is. Most of the accuracy isn’t the gun, but rather the person behind the trigger.

Just because you can’t shoot worth a hoot doesn’t mean no one else can. We’re talking 300 ft. for pity sakes. Not yards.

Try again.

Sorry, but an old-style Mini 14 or even a new-style Mini 14 with the
heavier barrel is NOT a 1 MOA rifle, even in a full bench rest shooting
top-drawer hand loads.

I agree. My old beat to **** .22 remington pump will get pretty close
to, if not 1" groups at 100 yards shooting garden variety feed store
ammo.
Bagged in a rest with match ammo I am sure it will do it.

You just explained how stocks add to accuracy. The statement by you was
stocks do not add to accuracy. And you claimed to pass English at an
advanced level?
