It is not really "sold" until the check clears.
I am not sure I have ever taken a check for anything like that.
When we sold Judy's CR-v the lady was upset when I said I wanted cash
and they gave me a real dirty look when I swiped each bill with a
counterfeit pen.
I guess that comes from being in the Harley business.

Well, I know where the prospective buyer lives, so I'm not too worried about the check not clearing.
I'll be sure to let the group know what happens. The agreed price included a profit, which maybe
I'll let drop a bit.
