Heh, why should land cruising be different than boat cruising? The
definition of boat cruising is fixing things in exotic places. And of
course "BOAT" stands for Break Out Another Thousand.


Yup, poop happens. One of the guys in my fishing group is a commercial
guy. Runs a 6 pack. Means at most 6 passengers. He was a mile of
Bodega last week and an engine stopped. Looked in to the engine hatch to
see it filling with water. Made it to the beach on the other motor. Got
all the clients off safely on the beach. Waves destroyed the boat.
Hauled away in 10 yard dumpster. CG thinks it was a cutlass bearing seal
that failed. He will get another boat, but we are all happy hat no one got
injured.
