I am sure the community you grew up in was different back then and I
know you had strong family influences. Sounds like that culture remains

Well of course it's not true everywhere! I wouldn't give 'any kid' a rifle, and I'm sure most
'responsible' adults feel the same way. But, back to what Greg said, none of this extra paperwork
you propose would have stopped any of the shootings!
