![]() .... about deporting illegal entries into the USA without going through the "legal process" just isn't so. Turns out *that* law already exists for contiguous (shared border) countries, i.e. Mexico and Canada. Mexican or Canadian residents entering or attempting to enter the USA illegally can be immediately deported without going before a judge, court or any other type of legal hearing. This doesn't apply to those who present at an official point of entry and declare a request for asylum. All Trump is suggesting is to extend that law (temporarily) to those entering or trying to enter *illegally* via Mexico from places like Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, etc., in an attempt to curb the growing number of people illegally entering daily. |
