Wasn't there a news story about a guy who lost all kinds of weight
by only eating at McDonnald's for years?

.......

Well theres a girl that would only eat McNuggets and fries. 17 years old
and her health is all but wrecked.

Parents should be charged with child abuse. Case a few years ago here
where the kid would only eat oatmeal. Had a bunch of health problems.
One of the his doctors was at a convention and Ricketts came up. Was what
the kid was suffering from. Missing a complete diet. Mom said he would
only eat oatmeal. Doctor told here be the parent, put other stuff on his
plate. When he got hungry, he would eat.

I think parents should be charged with child abuse for allowing their kids to become obese, unless
there is a medical reason behind the obesity.

I don't think I've had McDonald's fries (or anything else there for that
matter) for about 10 years.

Are they better? Used to taste like a salty, wet stick or at least what
I imagine a salty, wet stick would taste like.

.....
occasionally when traveling I might grab something through the drive-up,
but, I’ve never really been a McDonald’s fan either.

They have good coffee, and a senior price. Other than that, I used to like
the sausage biscuit for breakfast when traveling.

I don't find much I really like at McD. We had one across the parking
lot from our Ft Myers office and I would walk over there if I was
really busy and did not have time to go somewhere. I would usually get
some kind of regular sized sandwich and a salad with iced tea. It was
still a last resort sort of thing.
I worked in Wendys and Burger King, of the two I prefer BK but there
is a huge difference in the sanitation and even the quality of the
food between stores, even in the same general area. At the very least
you should look around a little. If you see something yucky from the
counter, just imagine what it looks like in the back and you are
probably not wrong.

If you buy two McChicken $1 sandwiches, throw away one bun and put the
chicken on the other, you've
got a decent chicken sandwich for $2.

Back before McD had sold billions of burgers, we would buy a dozen at 14
cents each, take them back to where we worked on our race cars and toss
half the buns.
