want to be, I have no idea about the "Maryland law" to which you refer.

It is pretty easy to find out what the various community property and
liability laws are but you always think you need a lawyer, so I am
sure you had the advice of one.

Haven’t discussed community property with a lawyer or anyone else since my
divorce 25+ years ago. If I need legal advice, I sure as hell wouldn’t get

Yeah, we were "advised" it was close to the Bay. Turned out the advice was
correct. Virginia is too congested, the District was too expensive.
