BTW, what happened to the Russia sanctions Haley announced yesterday,

I was just figuring out that in my lifetime we have had 13 Presidents,
going back to Harry Truman. (I know you've had lunch with all the
presidents going back to Grover Cleveland, but I digress).

Anyway, my awareness of presidents and politics really starts with
Eisenhower, mostly due to influences of the "grown ups" at the time.
Started forming my own opinions later, probably with Kennedy.

I have never, ever seen the polarization, division and pure hatred
of a president by members of his opposing party as we see daily
today. I am less concerned with what Trump did in a past life
than I am concerned about the permanent damage the
hatred may have on our country and form of government. The obvious
objective of the left is to legitimatize him and his presidency.
It's ok by me to be critical of Trump but it's *not* ok in my opinion
to put the country at risk by doing so.

Harry, as Mark Penn of the Harris Poll recently said,

"If you don't like Trump, *vote* him out".

My sentiments exactly.

And the way to do that is to constantly and in view of the entire
world, allies and adversaries alike, come up with every single
scandal allegation, criminal allegation, details of his sex life, his
relationship with his wife and kids and have nut cases like Maxine
Waters calling for his impeachment at every opportunity?

It's gone way, way too far and if your party is not careful it may
backfire on them. Americans have a strong sense of fairness.

If there was ever a Russian plot, this is it and the "never Trumpers"
are the useful idiots in the plot. Their goal is to weaken democracy
and make themselves stronger. This is working in that direction quite
nicely for them.
If Putin decides he wants to roll over Belarus, we are so divided now
that we would have the Harry's of the world crying "wag the dog" if
Trump even threatened to do anything about it.

Madeline Albright was on POTUS radio (XM station) a few minutes ago. You are almost parroting what
she said when asked about Putin. She talked about his use of Democracy against us - for example,
using freedom of speech to cause hate speech from both 'liberals' and 'conservatives' and incite
violence at rallies. She seems to believe the whole Charlottesville fiasco was Putin inspired,
plotting left against right. Insightful.

Harry, as has been pointed out, is one of Putin's best puppies.
