What the 'ell!
here they use the boom truck any time they can and that cost is included in the estimate. If the tree is in a tight spot, they use the climbing apparatus and claim that since that takes longer...it's reflected in the price.
They have you coming and going.
There is a clump of huge Linden trees straddling our property line...about 80% on the neighbour's property and 20% on mine. One of these days I'm going to call my insurance agent to see who'd responsible if something bad happens. On the other hand, if I make them aware of it, they may make me do something about it.

Looks like a Mexican.
I would rent a lift. I like renting equipment. Stuff like that is
trivial with a man lift.
At a certain point it is easier to just drop the tree. That is what we
did with the big fichus in the yard.

I am sure this is a Photoshopped joke.

Poke around, you will see plenty of things like that on the internet.
It does not surprise me. Judy used to have all sorts of WTF moments
watching guys who just want to "git'r done".

Problem with just dropping a tree, is location. I just paid $1800 to have
two Italian Alders cut down. Drought casualties. But 40’ tall near the
house. Got a discount for keeping most the wood for the wood stove.

Punctuation still sucks. But, at least you're trying.

My buddy got a discount for letting them take the wood. He's up north
where there's a good market for firewood.
