I've lived almost all my life in a Navy town and Justine claims to have served in the 'merican wavy navee...so of course I would think of a Navy term when I saw COD. When you hang out with sailors you might pick up some of their lingo.
COD stands for carrier onboard delivery. Typically it deliverd
mail, movies, emergency supplies, and ocasionally a
passenger.

I’m familiar with “Cash On Delivery� or some variant like that. But I was going by the first thing my brain saw. I’m getting together with some Roman Catholic friends this weekend for a big fish fry. It’s a wonderful time. Yep we’ll snap a few mackerels. It’ll be a grand time as usual...
