![]() This guy definitely qualifies. The stripes on the arm of his jacket are called "hash marks". Each stripe indicates completion of four years of service. This dude has 11 of them, so he has served for over 44 years. The Navy uniform "Crow" and hash marks start out as being red in color. After 12 years of service and 4 Good Conduct awards they are changed to gold. Middle one is a Sergeant Major (star in chevron). Can't see what the other's rating is. |
