Just like in Moscow. As a member of the generation that grew up during the darkest years of the "cold war" I remember the daily doses of propaganda that propped up the likes of J.Edgar and his ilk. It simply amazes me when I hear representatives of our current crop of sorry excuses for leaders spouting the same things their predecessors used to claim were reasons to fear and hate the "godless commies" who threatened our freedom. I believe the only reading any of those fascist wannabes have ever read is the "Kremlin Handbook of Propaganda and Civil Disinformation" They have mastered it. Rick |
