Al Gore and Hillary are not POTUS.
You quoted some of their verbal miscues.
Not the same thing as Bush screwing up, since they are not POTUS.

You also quoted some mangle-speak by Clinton. All the time he was in office you
guys said "He's not fit to be president!"
If we're going to apply the same standards, then we should be able to apply the
same criticism. GWB's lack of *verbal* IQ (he may be fine in other areas) is
an international joke.

Clinton had little or no regard for the truth.
Bush would be unable to articulate the truth even *if* he understood it.

Language is the currency of diplomacy.
It really is important for national leaders to be able to speak logically and
coherently.
Whatever Bush's strong points might be, public speaking shore ain't among 'em,
y'all hear?

Certain Presidents have been better public speakers than others. IMO, some of
the best in the last 50 years have been Clinton, Reagan, and Kennedy. Johnson
was fair to middlin', Eisenhower was sincere, Carter was candid, Nixon was
always runnin' for his life, and others just managed to be OK. The present Bush
is at the bottom of the heap, as far as public speaking goes (IMO).
