The last time I enjoyed snowy, cold winter weather was in junior high, when we sneaked onto the Yale Golf Course for sledding and went ice skating on the pond in Woodbridge just past the Parkway. It was even colder out there in Kansas when I hoofed it two miles in the snow, wind, and ice to that 8 am freshman physics class. Walking past the campus nuclear reactor didn't help, and the Pi Phi girls didn't invite me in for hot chocolate. ![]() the eastern prairie with nothing to stop it. |

Armageddon or nuclear winter here. ;-) I did have to put on a T shirt to run with Deuce at 0600 tho. It was probably close to 60 give or take but the wind was ~15 out of the north up on FPL. That tends to be a wind tunnel if the wind comes from the right way. |

BTW..looked out the window and the guy on the corner was clearing my driveway with his snowblower when the guy who owns the place just north of him came up with his big Heavy Duty Ranch King truck and started to plow a hard spot. It would be dangerous for me to get out between the two of them with my scoop. |
