So he sent a nude selfie to his girlfriend. So what? I honestly don't see it as a big deal.

Exactly. The days of the one off polaroid picture are over. These days
any picture you take could easily end up on the internet and be copied
a million times. Don't take any pictures you don't want on TMZ.

I was just watching a couple of attorneys talking about Barton.
In their opinion the ex-girlfriend could be subject to a misdemeanor
charge in Texas, with up to a year in jail and/or a $4k fine.

There are laws in some states about doing this if
you can prove that you had a reasonable expectation of privacy.

If it is actually illegal in Texas I think a civil suit might be more
devastating for the leaker. It would be easy to prove far more than
$4k in damages.
I really have mixed emotions on this because sending the picture was
the Acme of foolishness in the first place.

You sound like Trump the Moron, who, BTW, has also been accused of child
molestation.

It is a fact Moore has denied it. But one of his preacher buddies said
there was nothing unusual about a 32-year-old man chasing after young
teenaged girls.

I bet that's ok with you Trump apologists, too. And when you claim you

If it is actually illegal in Texas I think a civil suit might be more
devastating for the leaker. It would be easy to prove far more than
$4k in damages.
I really have mixed emotions on this because sending the picture was
the Acme of foolishness in the first place.

But...have we heard from the holier-than-thou evangelical christians

All of them here seem to agree its disgusting and downright stupid.

But child molestation is ok, according to some evangelical preachers

You leave out one minor fact.Â* Moore has denied it ever happened.
He has never said, nor have any of his supporters said it's "ok".

That's not a personal judgement or conclusion on my part, so relax but
again, it's spreading a dishonest, fake news slant on your part.

And when you claim you
are not a Trump apologist, you sound like Moore.

They have a hard time with LBJ. He gets presented as a liberal hero

war killed a disproportionate number of black kids.
It was actually FDR that started us down the road to a welfare state

Social Security and LBJ brought us Medicare but they also doomed them
to failure by FDR starting the tradition of spending the surplus to
hide the cost of his war and LBJ rolling the whole thing into the

welfare programs.

There was no actual investment component so it was really a Ponzi. As

Felony DUI manslaughter can get you 20+ years (about the same as 2d
degree murder).
Teddy just got reelected for 40 more years.
That was just one dead girl. JFK/RFK's arrogance was far more
dangerous for the whole world. They risked nuclear war to get the
missiles out of Cuba and in the end they got the same deal Krushchev
wanted without all of the drama. (we took our missiles out of Turkey,
the Soviets took their missiles out of Cuba).

"Depraved Indifference" = 2d degree murder
To be drunk and driving around is bad enough but to go off and leave a
girl drowning in a car and not even call anyone until the next day is
depraved indifference to human life.
I suppose if I was a conspiracy guy like Harry, I might even say there
is a chance she was dead when he pushed the car off the bridge. Dead
girls tell no tales.

I appreciate that guys like you appreciate ignorant, incompetent,

We lived through Bill Clinton and the murdering, raping Kennedys.

Neither Clinton nor Jack, Bobby, or Teddy Kennedy were ignorant,
incompetent, racist, sexist pedophiles.

Jack and Bobby were arrogant, incompetent war mongers who damned near
caused WWIII over bull**** and Teddy murdered a girl, was implicated
in a rape and lied about it.
They also had a total disregard of the constitution with their various
crusades. JFK should have been impeached and Bobby should have gone to
jail, taking J.E. Hoover with him.

Heheheheh. You are a trip.

Again, what part is not true?

For a myriad of reasons, I just don't buy into your view of the world,
your right-wing politics, your uninformed opinions on psychology and
sociology, et cetera. I'm not your mindless buddy, John Herring.
Further, you sort of put the cover on that pot when you posited several
times here that the black slaves would have been better off without
being emancipated for a few more generations. Unlike you, I don't expect
historical figures to be perfect in every way or to meet some set of
standards that you find acceptable.

Hell, man, you provide cover to Donald Trump, unquestionably the worst
POTUS in the history of the nation, and we've had some serious losers.

I think murder is too strong a word for Teddy's transgression. You or
I in the same circumstances would probably have been charged with
felony Vehicular Manslaughter.

Felony DUI manslaughter can get you 20+ years (about the same as 2d
degree murder).

===

The primary difference is intent.

===

I very much doubt that it was intentional but I do think he likely
would have been indicted for something in any other state.

Harry, are you that overly concerned about penises? You seem to be...

He's the only one I know who is in a 'penis' group. Of course, he lied about how he got there.
