I have a Remington shaver. Looking for new blades for the PR1235. Costs 64 cents less to buy a new shaver on amazon than to purchase just the blades. No wonder we have a landfill problem. |

My dad uses a $30 Panasonic shaver. Replacement blades and foil are $28. They sell the shaver at a price point and make their money back on the replacement blades. |

3:22 PMBill - show quoted text - I used Norelco for near 60 years. The last 2 did not cut well. Maybe if you have real fine hair or something. —\0— I usually get about a year out of the heads. But I remember when a chorded Norelco was $40.00 and the head kit was $12. Now the price point is so close what do you do? |

I do have a little $14.98 portable I keep in the glive compartment of the wife’s car. It’s a little 2-Head that duns on 2 AA BATTERIES. It’s handy for a quick tune-up when we’re going somewhere. |

That was a few months ago. Don't notice any difference. Still using the old heads. Not near as good a shave as the old ones. |

Not near as good a shave as the old ones. I think the cutters are screened so no skin is caught, but prevents lots of hairs going in the cutters. The Remington looks like an old style Norelco head. |

With a little electronic ingenuity you could probably rig up that razor so it would work off the cigarette lighter. |
