Mr. Luddite[_4_] October 16th 17 02:16 PM

Back in the news ....

Ol' Hillary is back again, this time in an Australian interview claiming
that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was a tool for the Russians and
blames him for publishing hacked emails that hurt her presidential campaign.

Assange (for what it's worth) has repeatedly denied that the Russians
were the source of the leaked emails.

Regardless of how they were hacked or who was responsible, Hillary just
doesn't "get it" that it wasn't the fact that they were hacked that hurt
her. It was the content contained in the emails that hurt her, along
with her many lies about them.

In today's news:

"During her talk, she blamed her loss to Donald Trump on sexism and the “maddening” double standards
women are held to in public life. “The only way we’ll get sexism out of politics is to get many more
women into politics,” she said."

I don't think I'd heard that one before. I suppose all the women who voted for Trump were sexist
also, not to mention racist, etc.

The election of Trump probably did more to advance the fight against
sexual abuse than anything else in history. Suddenly the left started
thinking this was a bad thing after years of other democrats doing it
with impunity from them. (Trump was even a democrat when most of these
allegations came up),
Now that we have decided pussy grabbing is a crime, they could not
ignore Weinstein and Afflack transgressions. I suspect more will come
up now that women feel comfortable coming forward.

Trump "talked" about it with a buddy on a bus thinking the conversation
was private. He has never publicly admitted "doing it".

The Weinstein guy has admitted his transgressions but wants sympathy and
forgiveness because he's "sick".

Hillary says she'll return some of his contributions in the form of her
standard, 10 percent charitable contributions. So, that means she'll
return 10 percent of what he donated to charity. How 'bout the other 90
percent and how about his contributions to the Clinton Foundation?
Hasn't mentioned any of that. Despicable lawyer speak.

I find it hilarious that you mook who directly or indirectly support
Trump, who will go down as the worst president in U.S. history and the
worst human being, too, are still trying to put salt on Hillary
Clinton's tail.

The worst of all the supporters here, sadly, is Richard the Luddite,
who, despite his denials of being a Trump supporter, is almost always
the first in line to rationalize or justify Trump's behavior. That sort
of behavior from JustAnAsshole, Herring, Bilious, et cetera, would be
understandable because they're just mindless right-wingers, but I always
thought Richard was above that sort of lemming-like behavior.

That's rich. You are calling *me* a lemming?

BTW ... the reason I keep pouring salt on Hillary's wounds is because
she keeps popping up with blame claims. If she just STFU and went away
I wouldn't have any interest in her. She sorta reminds me of that

Why give the scum bag back anything? The university gave back $5 million.
Would be better helping students than going in the rapists legal fund.

Good point. There are much better things to do with the money than give it back.

Toys for Tots could use it. Which reminds me, if anyone has a couple extra bucks lying around, Toys
for Tots is a pretty good charity, especially as we approach Christmas.

Most of my dad's estate was left to my mother. I know that because I was
present at our family lawyer's office when my dad, a year before his
death, worked out the changes the family wanted in his will. I inherited
all the hand and small electric tools from his boat shop, and a new 14'
dory, outboard, and trailer, which I gave to our family accountant for
his help "above and beyond" in selling off the store's merchandise and
working with our family lawyer in redeveloping the real property into a
mini-mall while I returned to D.C. to continue my career in advertising
and marketing. I also inherited my dad's totally rebuilt and restored
1949 Jeepster, which I gave to my dad's long-time shop foreman. I was
pleased that he maintained it properly and passed it on to his son.

The funds generated enabled my mom to move to south Florida, buy a nice
condo, and live another 25 years in comfort.

Hillary Clinton is one of those classic don't do as I do, do as I
say persons.

If that were the case, she'd be very popular in .wrecked.bloats,
because this joint is filled with conservatrash who want posters to
behave as they say, but not as they do.

Really? Perhaps you could provide an example or two?

Sure. Your buddies Herring, W'hine, and a couple of others constantly
castigate and insult other posters here, and also call them out for
not behaving in a gentlemanly fashion. If you haven't noticed, you
have your Trump Blinders on.

As for me, I don't really give a **** how the conservatrash here
behaves...I just find it a giggle when they call out others for
behaving as they do.

There are only two people in this newsgroup who receive insults from the
people you named. You are one of them and the insults are richly
deserved in response to your never ending litany of insults,
insinuations, fake news and more that you cast upon them, me and others.

The other person is obviously Don. Personally, I have no beef with him
and neither of us have ever directed "insults" at each other. Other
people's mileage may vary.

BTW ... at some point you may finally realize that I offer positive
comments about your president, the Donald, mainly because I know it
gets under your skin sometimes. You will of course deny this but all
you have to do is follow a thread long enough and at some point you'll
lash out at something I wrote.

It's really sorta funny ... and entertaining.

The truth is, I probably agree more with Steve Bannon's thoughts as they
relate to the political "establishment" and it's transformation into a
"ruling class" over the years. It desperately needs to be corrected and
returned back to when politicians were representatives of the people and
not of their own pocketbooks.

All politicians should serve 2 terms. One in office, one in jail.

I'm an optimist. I can't believe that all politicians succumb to
the corruption and scumminess of most of the career
politicians.

Those are the ones who get elected, find out how Wash DC operates and
voluntarily decide not to run for re-election after one term.

I think Hillary Clinton is almost as mentally sick as Harry Krause.

Two peas in a pod. But Clinton got rich. Harry missed that boat

Fair enough.

Advertising and marketing, huh?

Yup, I quit working for the teachers' union because I was tired of being
on call 24-7 and the endless travel, and I was successfully recruited by
at that time the largest AAAA ad, marketing, and pr agency in the D.C.
market. I actually made a trip down to D.C. for a final interview (first
one was in NYC) and for an separate interview with Jacob Javits, then a
Republican U.S. Senator from New York State, who was looking for a new
press secretary. I was recommended for that post by a Republican former
state legislator in New York who was the registered lobbyist for the
teachers union in New York and with who I worked on a few legislative
issues and fundraisers. I took the ad agency job: it paid a lot better,
my office in Georgetown overlooked the beautiful canal, and my assistant
was to be a stunningly gorgeous young woman who looked like a Playboy
model. Sadly, when I actually came down to D.C. to start, it was after a
huge storm...the canal had collapsed and the dish had left the agency
for greener pastures. :(

But it all worked out. Three months later, I was researching and writing
a script in preparation for a trip to Bangladesh to direct a film on
Louis Kahn's National Parliamentary Building in Dhaka. :)

Just as I stated. Oh and Don and I are the only two non conservatives who
bother with this dung heap. No coincidence.

Kevin shows up from time to time. You used to attack him until you
kissed and made up.
