Ft. MacArthur. Spent a
glorious two years there as advisor to National Guard and Reserve

I think if California pulls out of the union the government should
sell all of their military bases in California to developers.
Pendleton and Alameda alone would take a chunk out of the debt.

Alameda is already turned over to local government. Have not done much
with it.
