so I am interested to see if I am right. I think the damper control
actuator either stuck or was bad from the get-go and it basically burned
up the coil that operates it which would explain the electrical burning
odor.

LOL. I thought about that. Sunday was in the 60's, so I didn't notice
the lack of heat. It wasn't until Monday morning when it was in the 40's.
