Half the province was threatened by forest fires and the other half by dry wells and extremely low rivers and lake levels. We desperately needed that rain at that time. |

9:20 AMTrue North - show quoted text - ...., "And for you're area, that was some really unexpected as well as unusual weather for you, Don..." It sure was...and very windy also. Missed a number of boating days when the wind was over 40km per hour. We really aren't used to week after week of temperatures in the upper '80s. On this side of the harbour, our water supply was fine but in the Dartmouth area their lake was getting down so they had to curtail use. Global warming? |

Global warming would make you tropical and lots of rain. |

Global warming would make you tropical and lots of rain. That is why they call it climate change. They are just saying the climate will change and it may be a little different for everyone. The warming will show up in the north more than the south according to the theory. If they are right and this is greenhouse gasses, plan on warmer weather because greenhouse gasses are just the result of how many people are on the planet. |
