Yeah, I believe you to be a rightie, based upon many of your posts and stated positions. I don't believe you to be a sewer rat rightie like Herring and a couple of others here. There's nothing wrong with being on the right, typically. ![]() |

I appreciate the fact that typically a lot of you righties resent it when someone tries to be precise in the use of language and properly qualifies a statement ...apparently it interferes with your core belief that all lefties believe one way and all righties believe another way on all issues. Here's an example of precision: The justice department has admitted that Trump atty general talked to the Russians after Sessions testified under oath to the Senate that he did not. It doesn't matter what the subject matter was of those discussions between Sessions and the Russians...what matters is that Sessions lied under oath...to Congress. He should resign and perhaps be prosecuted. Spin that any way that pleases you. |

Righties typically don't like NPR news because it presents issues in great depth. As a Rightie, I'd have to disagree. I have nothing against NPR per se... Love me some Prairie Home Companion, and I used to love Car Talk. I can handle their news updates, too. What I don't like is the "in deapth analysis" type shows because of the obvious political slant of most of the people doing the analysis. Its probably akin to the same feeling you have about news analysis on FOX News. All that is separate from the awful monotone blaze presentation of many (not all) of their commentators. Some of them can make a golf commentator sound positively exciting! |
