It certainly does. Hope you're feeling better soon.

It's important to get professional help at the first sign of any
respiratory distress. I've had two acquaintances who failed to do
that and they are no longer with us - both middle aged folks who were
otherwise in good health.

My wife has been hacking for 2 weeks now. Deep coughing fits that hit every couple minutes. I finally convinced her to call her dr tomorrow. I feel she's got a "walking pneumonia"

gotta do something. This isn't cool.

Good for her to get checked out.

On a scale of 1-10, Tuesday evening and yesterday I was at a "1".
Today I feel a bit better ... maybe a "2". Very weak and achy though.
Drinking as much water as I can. No appetite for food though.
Ironically, I had to cancel a doctor's appointment for today because I
didn't think it would be smart to go out in a blizzard, and spreading my
germs all around the Doc's office.

Had your flu shot? Gotta admit, I haven't had it since I got talked into starting mine several years
back.

Wishes for a speedy recovery. Breathe deeply!

Been at least 23 years since I had the flu maybe over 30 years,
never had a flu shot. ;-)

You've been very fortunate but it's time to stop pressing your luck.
The flu can be very nasty stuff. My maternal grandmother lived
through the great flu epidemic of the early 1900s. It killed more
than 50 million people worldwide. She said that healthcare and
funeral home facilities were totally overwhelmed.
