In this area I, like most Maritimes, would support our cousins in the
Boston States.
I'll have to make sure I see the Lady Gaga Show.
She was delicious in that Haunted Hotel tv series a couple of years ago.

Up to about Superbowl XXII or so the halftime entertainment consisted
mostly of marching bands with an occasional singer or recording artist.

For the most part the halftime shows have been all downhill since with
a few exceptions, IMO.

Prince was unforgettable despite the fact that he is gone. Purple Rain
in the rain was amazing.

Delicious? You are borrowing Harry's terms in a strange way, dummy.

Gaga got a whole lot better when Tony Bennett took her under his wing
and showed her she could be successful without the halloween costumes.
Unfortunately she still has a fan base that expects it.
She is actually a pretty good singer.

Go Patriots. Go Tom Brady. A 5th superbowl ring would put you in a class by yourself as a QB. I look forward to Goodell when he has to pass the superbowl trophy to Kraft and Brady. Will be an interesting moment IMO.

Pats fans everywhere are wringing their hands in anticipation of
watching Goodell hand it over. I hope Kraft and Belichick decide to
have Goodell give it to Brady first.

Actually, I just hope they win.

We'll be doing our usual here for Super Bowl night...dinner and a movie.
I wouldn't mind seeing the Lady GaGa show, though...maybe it'll show up
on youtube

I went to the first NFL-AFL championship game, which I vaguely remember
as being in 1966 or 1967 on assignment for the newspaper. I didn't know
**** about football, really, and I still don't, but I went along with
the sports writing team to LA to do quickie interviews of KC area fans
who went out to see their team play Green Bay. I was "good" at
approaching folks and getting quotes from them. I didn't see that much
of the game, but I know the Chiefs were slaughtered.

That was the first and last pro football game I watched. I only remember
a couple of the players' names from those days, but they were
biggies...Bart Starr and Ray Nitschke for Green Bay and Len Dawson for
the Chiefs.

Bull****.

I can't believe there's a subject on earth about which you don't know ****. You know everything
about everything! If in doubt, just ask your BFF who backs up everything you say.
