Default Where do food stamps go?

Apparently Harry's claim that obesity is due to lack of money for decent food isn't all that
accurate.

"... the No. 1 purchases by SNAP households are soft drinks, which accounted for about 10 percent of
the dollars they spent on food."

It looks like some Maryland folks have made a real killing on food stamps. Maybe this is why Krause
is so 'pro-food stamps'!

"More than a dozen retail store operators in and around Baltimore have been charged in connection to
a huge food stamp and wire fraud scheme."

....and so on.

I see a lot of food stamps (EBT card) transactions. I would not be as
bothered if they were buying steak and lobster as I am at the junk
food.
Maybe Michelle should have spent her time educating food stamp people
how to best shop their food dollar. I came from a family that did not
have a lot of money (none from the government) but we did make better
food choices for our dollar. My sister (4 kids no money) was a master
at it. A little more cooking on the back end makes food a whole lot
cheaper on the front end. The closer you are to "nuke and eat" the
more expensive and the less nutritious the food is,
If kids are going to drop out in the 8th or 9th grade, maybe Home Ec
should be required in the 7th and 8th (boys and girls).
