One *good* thing is that it is only in the mid 20's, so the snow will be more of the light, fluffy type rather than the heavy wet stuff. Tonight the temp is forcast to drop to about 5 degrees (F for our Canadian friend). I think Don figured that out 5c is summertime up there in the frozen north isn't it? |

Wasn't trying to be disrespectful to Don. I have no reason to dislike him. Me neither but he's fun to get riled up. -- x ----Android NewsGroup Reader---- http://usenet.sinaapp.com/ |

The northern Gulf of St Lawrence however, not so much. At that point we were farther north than southern Newfoundland, and only a day or two from Labrador. Our kids are getting a real "Northern Michigan" winter this year. Last year the natives said it was quite mild. They were also living in downtown Traverse City so getting to the store was not an issue. Now they are 10 miles outside of Elk Rapids and that is just a wide spot in the road. They do have a Meijers tho (Super Walmart/Target sort of thing) |
