Default Advice for a Battery maintainer/ tender...

Why would you discharge the battery? Hard on them to deep cycle. I use to
cook the battery with the old type charger, so plugged the charger in to a
wall timer, and took the on pin off the timer, and manually turned on the
timer and it turned off in 12 hours or so. Just attach the charger and
monthly let th charger run for an hour.
