One thing about Harry

He is a man of his word when it comes to a gentleman's wager . I was
out of town for a few days and returned to find his postal money order
for our election bet.

I wasn't convinced that it would happen so I sent John the money I
"owed" him in advance. It will go to a great cause that might bring a
tear to Harry's eye. I'll leave it to John if he wants to fill in the
blanks.

I know it is fun to play with him but I always thought he was a good
guy. I am a little disappointed we could not get together when I was
in his "hood".

You didn't 'owe' me anything. It was a gracious gift to go towards a gift I plan to give an old Army
veteran (a few years older than me, anyway). He served two tours in Vietnam, lost his job when his
company folded, and is now living with his son and getting only Social Security.

He loves shooting, especially my Kimber .45. We go at least every two weeks. He had left his guns,
including a Colt M1911, with a son in Washington whose house was broken into. The guns were stolen
along with all the other valuable stuff.

He needs a gun. I'd been looking at some .45's with him in mind and have settled on the Ruger
SR1911, which will run about $675.

When I mentioned this to Alex, he immediately offered to help buy the gift, using the proceeds from
his bet with Harry. Harry probably would have donated the money anyway...maybe...out of the goodness
of his heart.

Harry, thanks for coming through on your bet.

Alex, thank you too! I've not ordered the gun yet. Waiting to see if the Trump election will cause
prices to drop a bit. Lots of dealers really stocked up expecting Hillary to win.

I used to have respect for Harry's liberal views even though I didn't
necessarily agree with many of them. I often enjoyed friendly debate but
he's gone off the deep end it seems. He makes false claims about people
that he doesn't really know, repeating them over and over until he is
convinced in his obsessed mind that they are true. I can't deal with
that kind of warped and dishonest mentality. It's straight out of the
progressive liberal playbook.

But it is perfectly ok when your buddy Justan makes "false claims about
people he doesn't know," right?
Of course, right, because as you have told me, you think those claims
are "funny."

Perhaps a bit of satire based mostly on truth. Don't like it?
Don't read it. Prove me wrong on any of the truths I've told
about you.

Prove a moron like you wrong? What's the point?

Then stop whining. You are such a baby.

Your behavior doesn't bother me, **** for brains...it just gives me the
opportunity to point out your buddy's hypocrisy.

If you knew him, even casually, you wouldn't say that. Your
problem is that you look in the mirror too often and see whay you
acuse others of.

The popularity of phrases in junior high pretty much depends on when and
where you attended junior high. Back in the day when I was at Susan
Sheridan Junior High, jerks like Justan were referred to as "flamers,"
which was "short" for flaming assholes. Typically, one of the junior
high tough guys, and we had a few, would beat the **** out of the
Justans once a week and send them home with a bloody nose and a torn
shirt. Those of us who were smarter tutored some of the tough guys who
wanted to get through junior high and high school and therefore we were
considered untouchable.

We didn't have "anonymous" loudmouths back then. Justan would have had
to have behaved or been one of the class punching bags.

The term "**** for brains" was a popular one back in junior high. You

You should quit whining.

Ha ha ha. So, you were a "brain" (popular phrase back then) and
therefore of immense value to the mere mortals trying to get through.
Meanwhile, you claim to be a regular Don Juan of the school, chasing
every skirt that walked by. What a freakin' joke.

Maybe that was the case in "your crowd," but back in the day it wasn't
unusual for students good in a particular subject in the schools I
attended to help others. In fact, several days a week, a bunch of us
would walk to the nearby branch of the public library to work on our
homework, especially on those courses that required us to use reference
books very few had in their households. Thanks to the help I got on
occasion from a classmate there, I was able to "ace" out of the
preliminary algebra class. She was a math whiz...I never was. What were
you doing during your time in the Amity School System, playing hooky?

Sheridan Junior High, jerks like Justan were referred to as "flamers,"
which was "short" for flaming assholes. Typically, one of the junior
high tough guys, and we had a few, would beat the **** out of the
Justans once a week and send them home with a bloody nose and a torn
shirt. Those of us who were smarter tutored some of the tough guys who
wanted to get through junior high and high school and therefore we were
considered untouchable.

We didn't have "anonymous" loudmouths back then. Justan would have had
to have behaved or been one of the class punching bags.

Ha ha ha. So, you were a "brain" (popular phrase back then) and
therefore of immense value to the mere mortals trying to get through.
Meanwhile, you claim to be a regular Don Juan of the school, chasing
every skirt that walked by. What a freakin' joke.

I was one of many bright kids at Sheridan, and I helped out some of the
boys who had trouble with their classes in English and American History.
I also
had a couple of girl friends in 7th, 8th, and 9th grade in junior high,
as did almost every other guy. That's a tad different than being a
"regular Don Juan," right?

Not according to your claims.

You're either imaging or listening to your intellectually challenged
buddy, "JustHopeless." I had a *couple* of girlfriends, two or three, in
junior high.

I'd love to add a 'great minds think alike' comment, but
here's proof

I used to have respect for Harry's liberal views even
though I didn't
necessarily agree with many of them. I often enjoyed
friendly debate but
he's gone off the deep end it seems. He makes false
claims about people
that he doesn't really know, repeating them over and over
until he is
convinced in his obsessed mind that they are true. I
can't deal with
that kind of warped and dishonest mentality. It's
straight out of the
progressive liberal playbook.

But it is perfectly ok when your buddy Justan makes "false
claims about
people he doesn't know," right?
Of course, right, because as you have told me, you think
those claims
are "funny."

Perhaps a bit of satire based mostly on truth. Don't like it?
Don't read it. Prove me wrong on any of the truths I've told
about you.

Prove a moron like you wrong? What's the point?

Then stop whining. You are such a baby.

Your behavior doesn't bother me, **** for brains...it just
gives me the
opportunity to point out your buddy's hypocrisy.

If you knew him, even casually, you wouldn't say that. Your
problem is that you look in the mirror too often and see whay you
acuse others of.

I call 'em as I see 'em, ****-for-brains. Most of your posts here
are
nothing more than junior high school level insults.

The term "**** for brains" was a popular one back in junior high.
You do realize you're the most prolific tosser of JHSLI's, don't you?

You should quit whining.

The popularity of phrases in junior high pretty much depends on
when and
where you attended junior high. Back in the day when I was at Susan
Sheridan Junior High, jerks like Justan were referred to as "flamers,"
which was "short" for flaming assholes. Typically, one of the junior
high tough guys, and we had a few, would beat the **** out of the

shirt. Those of us who were smarter tutored some of the tough guys who
wanted to get through junior high and high school and therefore we
were
considered untouchable.

Ah, so you "paid" for protection. We called those guys "pusses",
short for..., well, you know.

So that allowed you to be a flamer with no repercussions. Explains
a lot.

Nah, I was pretty much a goody two shoes back then. I had a few buddies
among the tough guys because I got them through English and American
history. Justan wouldn't have had anything to offer them other than his
nose and shirt pocket.

In other words ... a "pussy".

How to make friends and influence people,,,,,,not. You're lashing
out at everyone nowadays. How come? Does Hilerys loss hurt you so
much that you can't control yourself? Where's your bride in your
time of need? Is there anyone willing to step up and support you?

Harry's money will be well spent!

If that vet is in the direction straits you claim, I'd think a "gun"
would be low on his list of priorities.
How about suitable winter clothing, maybe some medical apparatus to make life easier etc.

He is living with his son. So housing is taken care of. Medicare should
take care of almost all his medical needs. He needs toys. Quality of life
toys.

True.
