Default Beautiful morning for a ride.

Seeing today was going to be gorgeous and possibly a high temp in the eighty's, I thought I'd ride over to the license branch, pay them their $41.00 and get a new license sticker. Yeah, it's expiring November 1 so may as well do it now. Wonderful little 20 mi ride round trip. Besides on Saturday they're open from 7:30am to 12 noon.

Coming back, a stop at the gas station for a quick coffee then to work.

Beautiful fall days. Enjoy them while you can...

Did the farmers market/ halloween costume contest today. Some of
the mommys were yummy. Almost cool enough for long pants. We're
getting into the season where you have to change clothes midday.
We plan to do a lot of riding this season. I have a 2 year old
bike with less than 4K miles.

Yes. Wasn't sure I'd like it as much as the G W but it's a lot
easier to ride and more forgiving of mistakes. It's definately
more stable than a G W trike.

The squirrels get them here and bury them. I have about 100 oak trees
sprouting here pretty much year around. I just run over them with the
mower most of the time but I do have 3 big ones that came up from
acorns, growing wild, since I moved here.

This is a 'mast' year for the white oaks here. They've been nice for the past couple years, but made
up for it this year. One oak can drop up to 10,000 acorns in a mast year, and I've got 11 of those
buggers in my yard.

The squirrels aren't hurting!
