It's been coming for a while. ITT Tech was much like Trump University, a
fraudulent operation.

The 50-year-old company had been under investigation for alleged fraud
and deceptive marketing, as the government cracks down on for-profit
colleges that take federal dollars. The government accused ITT Tech — as
well as similar for-profit schools — of scamming students while failing
to give them adequate job training.

Were you planning to enroll?

You wouldn't have gotten into the AP ENGLISH courses or even into the
bonehead English courses.

In the good old days, out of state kids had to have at least a minimum
score on either the SATs or what I sort of recall was called the ACT,
plus minimum scores on the Achievement Tests. I don't know what the
requirements are these days. Based upon your writing samples here, you
wouldn't have made the cut back then, and it isn't clear you would have
made it through what we called "Bonehead English." Sorry, Charlie, but
even in Kansas back then, rotten tuna didn't make it in.

I made it through English, and though math, and an engineering degree at a
good school. And had a successful career. Never have been near
bankruptcy.
