We fly I am not sure I would want to ride 1600 miles (this trip) on a train and I know I would not do 3000 to go out west. It is 400 or so, just to get out of Florida. Europe is a pretty small place with attractions fairly close together. I carry my duffle and a cooler. |

Did not have to search for a motel available each day, and could stop when we wanted too. Also was cool to camp in Yellowstone with buffalo in e campground. |

When we flew from Tahiti to NZ and NZ to Cairns, they weighed the carry on, and you were limited to 20#. The soft side I had was 13#. The new spinner is 6.5#. |

You can load your "quick" stuff in the top section, other stuff in the bottom. It clamshells open with a zipper inside so you can get to the top stuff with it open and there are also pockets on both ends. It has wheels and a pull out handle or sewn handles on 3 sides plus the strap over the top. There are also shoulder straps if you want to wear it as a pack and the pull out works as a pack frame. Mine has a big roller bag and a shoulder bag when we go on vacation trips, but has a second roller bag for her professional suits, shoes and suchlike if she is going to an out of town business meeting where she is a presenter. |
