Wow. Like life behind bars would be too long?

Make an assassination attempt on a US President, and eventually you get freed.

Amazing lunacy!

I heard someone say on another BB that this was just the democrats
hedging their bets in case trump wins.
I guess Hillary will get him a better gun for next time.

One of the janitors at the nut house said he thinks
Hinkley is harmless so the let him go conditionally. He's not
allowed near the white house. He must notify the secret service
of the route he will take to his psyche appointments in DC . He
can't go near the hotel where he tried to assasinate Regan. Is

Yeah and his 90 year old mother will really be keeping a sharp eye on
him too.
Wasn't she the one who was watching him in 1981?
After all he will be in Virginia where there are gun sold out of car
trunks at every shopping center across the state so what do we have to
worry about?

If Hinkley is ok now, put him on trial for attempted
assassinationof a us president and other high crimes. Also we
should eliminate the insanity loophole and do a continuance of
charges until judged competant for trial instead.

If this guy's psychosis was simply running naked through the airport
or howling at the moon, it is worth believing he is no longer a danger
but he is a homicidal maniac willing to assassinate a president in
front of secret service agents carrying machine guns. I am not sure a

If the bang up job they did in monitoring the Tsarnaev brothers and

expensive because they will lose interest in a few months and ignore

Tim is not even asking for the death penalty, just the life sentence
Hinkley deserves for first degree murder. They could retry him now for
murdering Brady since he is cured and is able to assist in his

Again, how christian of you.

Maybe he also read the first few books of the Bible too.
Tim is not even asking for the death penalty, just the life sentence
Hinkley deserves for first degree murder. They could retry him now for
murdering Brady since he is cured and is able to assist in his
defense. He was never charged with that so double jeopardy is not an
issue.

Ahh, another christian...(probably not).

I guess you don't know much about the history of the christians.
Jesus may have been the only one who ever turned the other cheek and
you think he is a fantasy.
They have been vengeful SOBs for the last ~2000 years.
When you actually look at recidivism rates, it is not an unreasonable
position that this guy should stay in custody. If shooting a president
is not just cause for keeping someone locked up, we might as well open
the doors and let them all go.
The only reason he was "insane" is he was a rich white guy. I am
surprised that escaped you. "Jamal Jackson" would have been executed
before Reagan was reelected.

Hinkley set to be turned loose?

Yeah and his 90 year old mother will really be keeping a sharp eye on
him too.
Wasn't she the one who was watching him in 1981?
After all he will be in Virginia where there are gun sold out of car
trunks at every shopping center across the state so what do we have to
worry about?

Reagan is already dead, Jodie Foster ain't interested. He's in his 60s,
he's been under supervision for 35 years...

I didn't know there was an expiration date on crazy.

I'm sure you don't believe this, but it is possible for the mentally ill
to become better and to be able to control themselves. That, hopefully,
is the future for Donald Jerk Trump.

If Hinkley is ok now, put him on trial for attempted
assassination
of a us president and other high crimes. Also we
should eliminate the insanity loophole and do a continuance of
charges until judged competant for trial instead.
Whoever let him loose is as soft as a sneaker full of ****.

Ahh, another good christian.

What, you don't think a person should be held accountable?

If this guy's psychosis was simply running naked through the airport
or howling at the moon, it is worth believing he is no longer a danger
but he is a homicidal maniac willing to assassinate a president in
front of secret service agents carrying machine guns. I am not sure a
drug cocktail and talking it out cures that.

You're not educated or experienced in the field, and you know next to
nothing about the treatment he received.

Note that I stated that it was possible for the mentally ill to be able
to control themselves, that is all.

Anything is possible, ****head. It is also possible he was fed
drug cocktails that made him appear to be less dangerous.

What percentage of progressive, liberal, democrat, socialist,
humanoids think Hinkley deserves a pass? My guess is you are
standing alone on this Mr. Asshat.

Wow. Like life behind bars would be too long?

Make an assassination attempt on a US President, and eventually you get freed.

Amazing lunacy!

One of the janitors at the nut house said he thinks
Hinkley is harmless so the let him go conditionally. He's not
allowed near the white house. He must notify the secret service
of the route he will take to his psyche appointments in DC . He
can't go near the hotel where he tried to assasinate Regan. Is
everyone in DC crazy?

===

I can't even begin to imagine the cost to the public of all the
monitoring that is going to be required.

He's been "out" for a couple of weeks every month. You didn't know that?

Hinkley might be on your friends list but I doubt he's on Waynes.
How many fruitcakes have you friended?

Almost all the fruitcakes I know personally are right-wingers on
rec.boats. You're in that group.

You don't know me personally.

If the bang up job they did in monitoring the Tsarnaev brothers and
Omar Mateen is any indication, it is probably not going to be that
expensive because they will lose interest in a few months and ignore
him.

That's comforting. Is he entitled to a social worker? Maybe they
could hire Harrys wife to keep an eye on him.
