I understand Ron Paul does not support the West Bank settlements and
other Israeli apartheid activities but I am not sure I have heard him
say bad things about Jews in general.

You do not have to go very far back to find plenty of prominent
democrats who were anti semites. Certainly within my lifetime.

Really? On May 14, 1948, the Provisional Government of Israel proclaimed
its new state of Israel. That same date the United States recognized the
provisional Jewish government as de facto authority of the Jewish state.


Europe was recognizing it, so what the hell, did not cost Truman anything.
