"He was a bad guy -- really bad guy. But you know what? He did well? He killed terrorists. He did that so good. They didn't read them the rights. They didn't talk. They were terrorists. Over. Today, Iraq is Harvard for terrorism," Trump said. So now you are saying GWB was right, taking down Saddam? No, I am commenting on Trump's inability to control his tongue in regard to his admiration of Saddam's techniques. You really ought to stop projecting your conclusions about the meaning of the words of others. "He did well." Yup. If you are talking about keeping the crazies in Iraq tamped down, he did do well. I could say the same for the Soviets, Qdaffy and Mubarak. In fact, we backed the overthrow of Morsi the democratically elected leader and installed another military dictator in Egypt (Sisi). I imagine that was just to calm down the people in our 51st state tho. The Muslim brotherhood scared the **** out of them. It seems we are always wringing our hands about a dictator, until we see what comes after. Then we wonder what we were thinking. |

I recall Randy Paul talking about why he believed restaurant owners and others in that sort of biz should be able to discriminate as they wish. In case you forgot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92M3mSKbwR4 The Pauls, father and son, are the most prominent loonytarians. And Ron Paul had his name attached to some brochures that were blatantly anti-Semitic. Have nice day. I understand Ron Paul does not support the West Bank settlements and other Israeli apartheid activities but I am not sure I have heard him say bad things about Jews in general. You do not have to go very far back to find plenty of prominent democrats who were anti semites. Certainly within my lifetime. Truman was notoriously anti semitic, racist and an all around asshole. |

You seemed to miss the "Constitutional" part. It's the law that offends Libertarians because it interferes with their right to discriminate. If it is a PRIVATE operation, why shouldn't you have the right to decide who can join? I personally find discrimination against people based on race religion or gender to be stupid but I am not sure it should be the law. I do find it interesting that you talk about the evils of discrimination but you are the first one to discriminate against christians. |

You think virtually all politicians are assholes because you despise government. If it wasn't for the politicians, I might not have such a problem with government. They are simply whores who sell their influence to the highest bidder. When that influence translates into the laws that control us all, you are right. I despise government. If you are really upset that the 1% has so much power, you should too. |

I have hint it was just a recognition of what was in place. |

Truman was against the idea personally but he was in a close election and famously said "I do not have hundreds of thousands of Arabs among my constituents." |
