I mostly buy pretty standard, run-of-the-mill firearms that I enjoy
shooting. There must be a zillion Mini-14s extant, and even more S&W
revolvers and lots and lots of Henry rifles in various calibers.

My 97 Winchester will still be shooting even if the shells are swollen
and I can restrike a misfire.

You have little pension. You buy a boat that serves your purpose somewhat.
But you could pay monthly storage on the trailer for a bigger boat.
Loan/loan spell check. If you need a loan, you go to a financial
institution. Hopefully your credit score is a lot higher than someone like
Harry's.
