The receiver is the part with the serial number on it. Duh

I am also not sure much but the stock was changed and that is common
with 10/22s. They are sort of like ARs. You buy the part with the
serial number and make whatever kind of gun you want.
The 10/22 may be the best selling .22 out there over the 50 years it
has been around.

There are several suppliers of "third party receivers" for the 10/22.
They get shipped to an FFL. Here's one:

That is a new gun. Why bother to even start with a 10/22 if you are
just going to throw away the serialized part?

I'm not disputing the success of the 10/22, but to make it as accurate
as a CZ 455 or 452, you have to spend several times the original cost of
the rifle.

Most people would rather have a magazine fed semi auto if they are not
shooting some kind of competition or fantasizing about it..

It's a hobby. I had a nice mag-fed semi-auto 22LR rifle a few years ago.
I sold it. It, too, was more accurate out of the box than any of the
10/22's. My CZ .22 is bolt action, with magazines. I like cycling the bolt.

Naw...the fridge is on a web cam.

That's stupid. Did you just giggle or "LOL" when you typed
that dumb
remark?

Stupid? I'm not the one who paid $1100 for a $200 rifle.

I'll pay you $400 each for any you can get. Find 100 and I'll
happily
write that check for $40,000. Best investment you can make since
you
have a source for them at half the price.

The 10/22 is a $200 or $200 and change rifle. There's nothing rare
about it, even the "commemorative" model you bought, which is just a
dressed up 10/22.

Great deal for you then. Put up or shut up. Go get them.

I already have a .22lr rifle, a CZ, that easily outshoots a 10/22.

Can you get the model he bought for $200 or not? You made the
comment, now put up or shut up.

Notice how you change the subject. Got caught again, eh?

I have no interest in an "old" new 10/22 or a "new" new 10/22 rifle. I
already have a .22 rifle that shoots better.

You said I overpaid for a $200 rifle and I offered to double your money
on any and all you could buy for $200 and sell to me for $400. Then you
STFU and ran. No surprise there.

I might take that bet, using my 60+ year old Remington pump.
I paid $20 for it.

What bet?

That you CZ wonder gun ain't all that.

Wonder gun? Where did you get that? It is a stock CZ 455 and it is more
accurate than a stock 10/22. This is it:

A bolt action vs a semi-auto is never a fair comparison. You should
know that.

Show me the vid of the stock 10/22 shooting a 1/2" group at 100 yards,
something the CZ's can do.
