Default New ride getting closer..

Got a call last night from my skipper buddy asking If I wanted to drive up to Saint John at 0600 hrs this morning with him and another friend to drop something off to the boat, which is waiting to get it's mast installed at it's home club. Declined, as eight hours of driving up and back would seize up my legs and be uncomfortable for me. I did the same amount of driving on my 2 trips to Charlottetown to view and then pick up my new boat but I was driving and could stop anywhere I wanted.
Anyway, new owner expects the boat here in Halifax within the next two weeks...if the weather will cooperate.

We can't have seized legs now. Any other excuses. Expect your skipper
buddy to exhibit the same enthusiasm toward your boat.

Default New ride getting closer..

A left over effect from my bout with Polymyalgia Rheumatica 2 years ago.
Got a cortisone shot in my right knee from my rheumatoid specialist a couple weeks ago. I went back after a year because the symptoms were slow leaving me. She compared it to a house fire.....the fire is out but the damage to joints is slow healing.
That's okay....I live by the creed...'when the going gets tough, the tough get going'.
