If you think your vote really has anything to do with electing the
president you are certainly a true believer and if you think (s)he
cares about your little patch once they get elected you are even being
more foolish. You are lucky if Steny Hoyer is looking out for Calvert
County and it is really your best chance of having any influence at
all in DC. The farther you get out into flyover country, the truer
that is.
A hundred ****ed off people in Bozeman Mt can get a bill on the floor
in the US Senate and have the same number of senators supporting it as
53 million people in California.
I'm glad you won't be voting this fall, and I hope you will work to
convince your Republican friends to do the same.
How un American of you. But then that's what we've come to expect.
