You are lucky if Steny Hoyer is looking out for Calvert County and it is really your best chance of having any influence at all in DC. The farther you get out into flyover country, the truer that is. A hundred ****ed off people in Bozeman Mt can get a bill on the floor in the US Senate and have the same number of senators supporting it as 53 million people in California. I'm glad you won't be voting this fall, and I hope you will work to convince your Republican friends to do the same. There aren't any democrats here so it would not make much difference what I say. The democrats don't even run a candidate for some offices and it is decided in the primary. It is sort of like having some republican running for DC mayor. |

Ahh, a right-wing ghetto. How nice. You trimmed the part where I said it would be like a republican running for mayor in DC. That didn't happen in 2014 at all. I am also not sure how a town dominated by communities full of half million to several million dollar houses is really a ghetto tho. |

Do you have a problem with that? |

He prefers a place like DC with 51% of the babies born out of wedlock, 40% of the population is on welfare, 85% of the people in the child welfare system have parents with substance abuse problems. It is also a place where the murder rate is up 54% from last year. Then he has the balls to say I live in a ghetto. I guess he never heard of Estero. I suppose that is a good thing. We have too many people coming down here now, telling us we need to do things like they did up north. |

And didn't we once discuss how your country has a higher crime rate than mine? You live in a ghetto area of white Republicans, right, ghetto in this case meaning only a high concentration of similar-minded people. I've been to SW Florida, as I have mentioned before. I prefer the other side of the lower part of the state, where it is less homogenized. On a far lesser note, it's good to see that W'hine, whose political party is going to nominate a jackass, is still a jackass. |

Ghetto has more than the meaning someone who has not studied the liberal arts might give it. ![]() As an example, one of the towns I lived in had a large section know as "The Golden Ghetto," because it was where most of the area's doctors, lawyers, factory owners, et cetera, lived. Give it up Harry. You know as well as anyone what the common definition of a "ghetto" is. You are just playing games. |
